Education has proven to be one of the most effective ways to prevent trafficking.
100% of SutiSana artisans want their kids to go to college. Like "Karen", a survivor who worked her way from abuse and destitution to graduate university with an accounting degree, they want their kids to have it easier than they did.
Every year, SutiSana works to break the cycle of trafficking by supporting survivors' kids education. Last year, we delivered more than 500 backpacks to vulnerable kids.
This year, we want to supply 700 vulnerable adolescents and kids with a special "Emergency Kit" of hygiene and school supplies to give them a confidence boost for the school year.
